Wine Corks
We celebrated our Christmas this past Sunday so I have some time to myself. Yay! I'm still cleaning up and taking dishes and glasses downstairs. There were some empty bottles of wine, which means I have some more wine corks! I went to put them where I've been storing them and was floored to see how many I have!! I've been saving them for a while with no particular idea of what to do with them. Well the time has come to either use them in something or toss them out! But I have NO idea what to do with them. I know quilters enjoy a glass of wine now and then, so I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for me.

I have seen them put together to form heat proof hot pads. I have also seen then put onto wreaths and decorated with artificial grapes. If you google using wine corks for crafts you will probably get lots of ideas.

Use them for tree trunks for mini knitted Christmas trees. I want to make some for next Christmas.
