WhenI was little, my mother said not to touch the sewing scissors, they are reall sharp. I decided to see if they were sharp enough to cut pins...well, they were, although it ruined them completely! I told this story to m own kids to keep my scissors safe, and guess what? up, someone just had to try! Another ruined pair!

My bunch has always known DO NOT TOUCH my sewing scissors because I had no money to replace them. To this day all of them still DO NOT.

I have plenty of scissors all over and I write on the handles what they are for... "sewing", "paper" etc....

but my sewing scissors stay in the sewing room now so not a problem...
