My chicken feed is now coming in woven plastic bags. I would like to do something creative with them instead of just throwing them away. Need some suggestions. :-o

Show us a picture of the bag? I've seen where people make reusable grocery bags from feed sacks.

Woven chair bottoms or sit-upons (remember those from Girl Scouts).

I bought a tote bag crocheted from plastic bags-the more colorful the bags the prettier the tote.

I will take a picture and post it a little later after I unload the chicken feed from my truck.

I think you can make utility rugs out of them. I have heard of people even doing that with plastic grocery store bags.

Tote bags. I just cut off a 'tube' of appropriate size, trying to get the most attractive part of the bag. Turn it inside out. I sew the bottom, using twill tape to reinforce, boxing the corners. Then fold over the top edge all around the opening & stitch. Add nylon, poly or cotton webbing handles.

Mine does, too and all of out horse feed so I get about 10 per week!

Here's pictures. I'd love to find something to do with them. Feed stores used to take them back, but not now.

Someone here is selling re-usable shopping bags on CL made from feed bags.
