All of the storms that rolled through the south got us again and we got to see some major straight line winds and tornadoes. The wind gust hit 80MPH and destroyed our area with trees down and lots of power outages. Fortunately we never lost power but 50,000+ did and all around us including myself we have huge trees down and limbs snapped off like little twigs.

At 1am I was outside during the lull and was dragging limbs and parts of my trees out of the street and yard sitting them on the curb. I have to get my chainsaw out and cut some limbs out of one of my trees and the 3 HUGE limbs that are laying in my yard I couldnt even move. I am looking in my neighbors backyard and I am looking at half of his oak tree laying across the roof of his house and several more just snapped and dangling over my back yard waiting to fall. I hope we can get them cut before they come down and take my power and phone lines out and possibly get me or the dogs if we are in the back yard.

This is the 3rd round of storms like this in the last month that has hit us and ripped the city up, but the first time we had any damage at my home or around it.

And yes the Studio has damage to but I dont think that anything inside was hurt at all.

So thankful that you weren't hurt! Studio damage can probably be repaired. Praying for your safety as you work at the clean-up. We had wild storms too, but no damage.

Oh what a mess...I am so sorry. Hopefully all your neighbors are safe. We can't even get a rain shower around here. Wish we could somehow strike a balance between the bad weather and no weather.

I'm so glad that you and your family are safe. I hope you get the limbs and trees cut up before hurting anyone. This winter has been a doozy for a lot of people.

I just hope the storms do not do near the damage that the last ones did in NC! But by the time they get there they are talking about them being as severe as the last ones.

All I can say is please be careful and keep an eye to the sky.

Glad you are okay. Storm came through early in North Texas but mostly hail and rain in my area. If only all this bad weather would move just a little bit to put water on the fires that are raging out of control to the west of the DFW area.

So sorry to hear about this-you folks sure have been hit this year. So far, we in Michigan have been very blessed. I hope that you'll soon see the end of these storms.

Happy to hear that you are ok. I can't believe how many of these storms are pounding so many areas, one right after another.
Stay safe everyone!!

Glad you are OK. Look out for the danglers when you are in the yard!

What a year for wicked Spring storms and so many tornadoes!
