And if you are, what do you snack on? When I worked, I could only have a bottle of water on my desk so I really didn't snack. I've been home since mid-October and I have just become the world's best snacker. 9 chips at 150 calories isn't the answer!

Peanutbutter pretzels or trail mix for me. Or peanutbutter with celery or apple. Usually we have a hot breakfast and then dinner with only a couple snacks through the day rather than a 3rd whole meal. Oh - also a cup of yogurt is a favorite snack.

baby carrots! or 94% fat free popcorn! Low Fat Yogurt! They're great, and those are my main snacks.

Potatoe chips are a huge weakness for me. I love milk chocolate and recently found Nutella. Now I can add it ot my list of addictions. I did give up soft drinks and now just drink the carbonated,sugar-free and flavored waters. Not sure if it helps but I am trying.

Thanks everyone. There are some things I've never thought of to snack on, so will give it a shot. I've always been so busy since I worked and think partly it's just being bored. My walking buddy has gone back to NH (and it's terribly cold so it serves her right!) Just need to find some things to keep busy now and will try some healthy snacks. Jan

I am a really good snacker!! One of the best!! I snack on m&ms, popcorn, chips, peanuts, oreos, you name it, and I can make a snack out of it.........but I do have to ration these out and not eat them all at one time!!

I go for the snacks that have something healthy in them - like caramel/chocolate apples instead of just caramel and chocolate.

Just a couple slices satisfy the cravings. (If you're interested in making these, how I made them is here: http://debzpicaday.blogspot.com/2011...24-of-365.html)
