I discoverd this website recently, boy am I glad I did. I have been watching and admiring all the wonderful quilts and aweing over the talented quilters. I have recently started quilting again. I made a few when my Mom was alive. Got busy raising my children and put it down. Just made a baby quilt for my grand-daughter. Made crocheted ones for the other grandkids. Big space between grandkids. Nine years without any new ones now I have one to sew for. Will post pictures later. I am working on another baby quilt for my great-niece. I have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Sewing is something I have been doing longer than any of the other crafts that I do.
You all inspire me so much that I want to do more quilts. I am going to look into a guild here in my city soon.

Welcome Nanawdeb from Tallahassee, Florida. I'm fairly new to quilting. I'm more of a fabric collecter than actually quilting though. Are there any nice quilting stores or shows there in Pensacola?

Not sure. I know there is a quild here. I am going to check them out soon. JoAnn Fabrics is the only good place to buy fabric here. I am more of a scrap quilter, just what ever I can find that I like. The 4-H club usually has quilts at the State Fair in October but havent been to the fair in years.

Wow, all the way from Ireland, I'm impressed. My great-great grandfather came from Ireland. Have been searching for years for my ancestors but, dont have full name so cant find any.
