Greetings from WNC

Greeting. My name is Cynthia and I have been "lurking" for a few weeks and worked up the nerve to join you in quiltland as this sounds like a great place to be and to meet like-minded folks. I have been receiving the newsletter for a long time and enjoy it. I live in Western NC and work as a speech therapist with adults...very rewarding. I have been an off and on quilter for about 18 yrs and have scads of partially finished projects (called UFOs, right?) I have been making quilts for my children and am now on the last one; next come quilts for the grands and g'grands.....whew. I will probably send a pix of this lastest and ask for your critique; first one on-point (Lots easier then I anticipated) and first time not adhering to a pattern...making it up as I go. Well, I'm living up to my profession and it's time to shush....
