:D Hi, can you tell this is my first time posting on any internet site? I have been reading the QB for six months and finally thought I would introduce myself. I am a new quilter and my husband finds it funny that I like to sew barefoot. Hence, he named me his barefoot quilter. I just finished my first quilt, a king sized QAYG for my daughter. Now my son is wondering where his is? I haven't told him I started a field of diamonds in muted brown, green, red, and blue bali fabrics.

Hello Betty Jean and welcome from Ohio!

Congratulations on your first quilt. I have a son and daughter as well, so they always get things as equally as possible. It's ok to sew barefoot, but please put shoes on when using your rotary cutter, every time!

Thanks Pam I never thought about cutting, I generally run around the house sans shoes. I best be a little more careful. You are right about the kids. My children are in their middle 30s and I still tend to be equal in gifts etc.
