Hi. I'm Shirley and I am new to quilting board and I live in Illinois. Although I love quilts and quilting, truth be told, I spend more time thinking about quilting than actually doing it. It's hard to find the time to do actual quilting when you work full-time. I do manage to complete a couple of quilts a year though, and that seems to be just enough right now to feed my soul. I'm looking forward to quilting vicariously no doubt, through all of you and to also learn a bit more about quilting and my other sewing passion which is vintage sewing machines.

Shirley, I work full time too so I know what you mean. I think when I retire I will have a great hobby to retire to! That is my plan anyway, so tonite I bought more fabric for my plan. HA!
