Greetings-newbie hand quilter from Washington!
#1
Hi all! I'm not sure how much of a "newbie" I am. Been quilting 2 years this coming January. I have completed one quilt totally by hand (piecing/quilting) and just recently purchased a machine. I'd rather quilt by hand but it takes forever!!! I do community sew quilts with my machine and the quilts for my family by hand. (I hope that makes sense). My name is Debby and I am a wife of 21 years and mom to 4 amazing kids-ages 19, 18, 13 and 12. 3 girls and a boy. I belong to Crazy Quilters of Federal Way and am also a scrapbooker...looking forward to getting to know everyone! I am currently working on a vintage Grandmother's Flower Garden UFO that I purchased 3/4 finished at a quilt auction.

Very nice! I like to quilt by hand, too, although for the sake of time, I often use a machine. I am doing a Grandmother's flower garden, too, and I did that by hand. When I get it sandwiched, I want to do it by hand als
