    Hello from Northern Ireland!

Hi all! I'm brand new to this forum and still pretty new to quilting. I'm from Northern Ireland, not too far from the capital, Belfast. I'm currently in the final stages of completing a PhD so sewing time is downtime! Hoping to get some great ideas and advice from the forum - I'm sure I will!

a Very Big Welcome! we hope you find lots here & share your projects.
A few years ago i picked up a magazine- called Irish Quilting- it is one of my favorite magazines- i've made many projects from it, learned lots & was inspired. It is one of those places I've wanted to visit...hubby says yes to visiting also...only problem is- a few years ago we decided we didn't want to fly anymore---too expensive for being treated so poorly --- then with all the recent cruise ship (stuff) he says....you won't be getting me on a cruise ship!...so, that leaves...(Swimming???) anyhow....Welcome!
hiding away in my stash where i'm warm, safe and happy

Thanks for the welcome all! ckcowl - swimming across the Atlantic sounds COLD ...though it is actually quite sunny here today, unusually for February!
