Hello everyone - I've been following this message board for a few months now. I'm a newbie, but 'll be taking quilting classes, and in the meantime have built up quite a 'stash' - can hardly wait !! Appreciate all the good advice, etc., that I've read here.

Hi and welcome to the QB. You aren't too far from me. I am in Westland. Where are you taking quilting classes at? I have been searching for a place to take some classes too.

Welcome to the forum!

How far are you from Ann Arbor? My son goes to college there.

I purchased my Bernina 440 at All Stitched Up – Farmington (they sometimes do quilting classes). and also Bits ‘n Pieces – Westland has classes I think. Hoping to meet you someday.

That would be great to meet you someday too. This is the first that I heard of Farmington having a quilt store. I will have to check that one out soon. Thank you for that info. I have been to Bits and Pieces several times. It is a very nice shop. Lots of goodies in there.
