I have been quilting for just 2 years but really do enjoy it. I live in Lake City, FL. I am on social security so I have to watch my pennies. I have a son that was in the marines & said he would like to see a marine quilt with the emblem in the center (Pieced) Like I said I am basicly a beginner. Can anyone help fpr a pattern for me? I would appreciate any help you can offer.

Whoa! I just googled the emblem and that is a hard one. Best bet would be an applique block. I will do some more looking and in the meanwhile someone else may come up with something. The people here are amazing!

The outside of circle is black then a narrow gold & then red. the globe & eagle is gold.The roping & the banner from eagles mouth is grey. United States at top of circle & Marine Corps at bottom is done in grey. This may not be possible especially for me. Like you said possibly applique.
These colors ok'd by him.
