Hi, from North Carolina
Hi, I am glad to join your group after "lurking" for the past month. I am a self-taught sewist of children's clothes (four granddaughters) and outdoor gear. My late mom was an expert garment maker for her and my four brothers.
I love to collect and work on vintage sewing machines and have a collection of vintage Singers, Kenmores, and Japanese clones totaling 23 machines to date. My current favorite to sew on is my Singer 500A "Rocketeer" that I got at a thrift store for a song. I am interested in understanding and learning about quilting.
Thanks for having me!

Welcome from Southern California. Sounds like you are going to enjoy hanging out in the section for Vintage & Antique Machine Enthusiasts. Hope you find as much inspiration as I do from this site.
