This is my first visit although I've been quilting for about 25 years. Looking forward to chatting and getting/giving helpful tips.

Lexington, a small town, but wonderful place to live. Close to the mountains, and close to the beach.

A slightly belated welcome from New Hampshire. My daughter is also at VT, so I know what you felt like in April. Lots of helpful folks here.

I hope you were able to talk to her quickly. I have CNN headline news emailed to my work computer, so I knew pretty quickly what happened. I called my son's cell, and got voice mail, but he called back right away. For some reason (God's work), he had decided to pay bills that morning and was late getting to campus. I told him just to go back to his apartment, that he couldn't get on campus. We talked quite a bit those next few days. He would not leave VT - said the comraderie and support was just unbelievable. Did your daughter know of the victims? My son knew the architecture student, but not that well.
