Hi, My name is Ginny and this is the first time to a message board for me so if I don't do it right I will learn. I am also new to quilting having just done my first quilt (piecing) for my husband for our 47th annis. I didn't do the quilting of it though because I wanted it to reflect the quilt material more than the actual quilting stitches and didn't know how to do this. I am ready to do more quilts and plan to do the whole thing (cutting, piecing and quilting ) myself.
Looking forward to more fun!

Hi Betty,
I am from Powhatan, but am now living in Wisconsin. I used to belong to the Powhatan Quilters. They meet at the library in Powhatan on the first Monday of the month. While I was a member, I learned a lot. It was my first attempt at quilting. I have made quite a few things and am thinking of joining a group here. Good luck on all your projects.
