Hi - Welcome to the QB from NE Ohio. Maybe you could buy muted fabrics similar to those in the block. You could put a block in each of the 4 corners of the quilt and one in the middle. The one in the middle could be part of a large Ohio star. Then you could have smaller Ohio stars throughout the quilt. Just a suggestion. Good luck! Show us the quilt when you finish it.
