Hi I am new to quilting also. Have done a lot of rag quilts and am doing my first flying geese one now. I am looking for a McCall's Quick Quilt pattern from March 2005 issue called New Years Garden. It was just featured in a current issue but the pattern no longer available.
We travel in an RV a lot and so I embroider pieces that I am hoping to incorporate into quilts or do applique sqares as we travel. Love Berlin Ohio and Shipsawana for fabrics as well as PA amish areas. Soooo many projects started.

Hello and welcome from a fellow north-easterner. I don't have the pattern you're looking for, but hopefully someone will have it.

Go to this website and you can order the McCalls March 2005 magazine. You have to scroll down quite a bit to find it but it's only $5.99

Welcome from Illinois. I'm not far from the Amish settlement in Arthur and Arcola Illinois. Lancaster County is where Wanda Brunstetter bases a lot of her books.
