I grew up watching my grandmother applique and hand quilt on a huge frame set up in her living room. She would be shocked to know I can communicate with quilters around the world. I've already learned a lot while lurking -- its time to come out in the open.

Thanks grandma, for the love of sewing and quilting!

I learned to tie my shoes under a quilt frame. What a blessing to have quilts in my life. Welcome

Welcome from the Los Angeles area. Just think of all our grandmothers could have done with the internet! World wide quilting bees.

Oh and the fabric choices, they would have been so happy.
