Your quilt would make one of my sons very happy!!! lol I don't expect mine to be as great as yours. I like the way you put the small square insets. Here's my Alabama. I plan a row at the bottom identical to the top row except Bear's hat will be facing the other direction.

I have an embroidery machine with a small stitching area and used it to applique the letters on my Alabama quilt (pic posted earlier).

That is one of the prettiest Alabama quilts I've seen.

Thanks for your compliments. Maybe one day I will finish the top ... and the quilting??? lol I have one small "A" to put the bias tape on and then add that row. I keep getting distracted with other projects. Does that ever happen to anyone else? lol

I plan to quilt close to the big "A" in the center and do echo quilting about 1" or so throughout the white. Any suggestions?
