    Red face New from Arizona

    Hello all!

My name is Megan, and I'm a newbie from Arizona!

I am self-teaching, and do everything by hand, as I don't even own a sewing machine. It makes for a lot of hard work, long hours, and sore fingers, but in the end it's an awesome sense of accomplishment for any project!

I make everything from Belly Dance tops to costume tails to throw pillows; to my upcoming project - my first attempt at a quilt! I've tossed around the idea of trying it for a while, so I found some fabric I like, and I'm jumping in with both feet, so to speak!

Wish me luck! I'll probably be lurking around, asking a few questions. So don't mind me; I'm just the chick in the corner taking notes.

Thank you! Glad to see I'm not nuts for thinking about quilts in 90-degree weather!

A big welcome from the SHO-ME state - Missouri. My ex-daughter-in-law's mother said that a quilt was not a true quilt unless it was cut by hand, sewn by hand and quilted by hand - so she would have LOVED you!
