Hi my name is Diane and I have recently moved to Maine. I only started quilting about 6 months ago in Oklahoma but I had to move and I have not been able to find a quilting group here in Maine. I would appreciate any help in find a group I am located in Cape Neddick which is Southern Maine. A group in New Hampshire would also be good.

Thank you
Diane

Diane,
You might want to google Knight's Quilting Shop, I think it's near you. I haven't been there yet but hope to someday soon. They would probably know of some quilt guilds or groups.
Good luck and welcome!

Welcome to the group. I live on the new Hampshire line. Probably to far from you. Where in Oklahoma did you live. I have a sister that lives there.

Welcome, Diane, from a fellow Mainer (in the middle of Maine). Glad you found the board, you will find lots of friends here. Enjoy!

Welcome from northeast CA. Glad you joined us. Can't help with your request, but I'm sure someone will be able to.

Don't worry Diane. If you don't find a "real" quilt group, this virtual one is pretty good. It's not the same as having someone to go shopping with, but when it comes to tips and advice this group knows everything.

Welcome from Illinois. I know you'll enjoy it here.

Hello, and welcome from Missouri! Hope you find a wonderful guild in your area, but don't let them substitute for this board! There are so many wonderful people here to help through just about anything!

Welcome from the lakes region of Maine. I hear that Knight's is great. How far are you from Sanford? Marden's (a surplus store) carries quilt shop quality fabric and I hear the Marden's there has the most. I do not belong to a guild, so can't help you there. This board is my mentor.
