Evenin, I am Will, a new member. I registered although my wife has been on the site for a long time. I am also a new quilter. I finished my first one a couple of weeks ago. It is a sudoku puzzle. Ironically, just as I was finishing it, Fons and Porter included the pattern in mailing. My wife has been sewing all of her life so I have a good teacher. However she has been quilting for only a year or so. We do the quilting with machine embrodery. I have been designing patterns for us to use and helping with the embrodery. Sudoku is all straight line sewing. I thought it would be fairly easy. Wheeew. Sewing is hard work. Anyway, I am attaching (I hope) pictures of the quilt.

Welcome to the site Will!! Glad you decided to join in. Quilting is so much fun to do & share. Glad that you & your wife have found the same hobby. That is a great quilt!!! Nice colors & beautiful job. I've heard of Sudoku puzzles & played some in a book using numbers.

Wow!!! How amazing is that. I can't even finish a Sudoko puzzle. Can't imagine trying to tackle a quilt.
Welcome to the board.

Thanks. When I was picking out the colors, my wife thought I was nuts. My main thought was to go from the lightest color as number 1 to the darkest as number 9. The co-ordination of the colors was inmaterial. I guess I am a color weight person.
