I made a king size french braid and I'm ready to have it quilted. I do not want feathers or flowers. Was hoping to find a pattern that looked like paisley in a continuous line. Does anyone have a creative knack for creating designs that could come up with one that could be used on a long arm machine. It should be large enough to do a 12-14" strip lengthwise. I won't be doing it myself and I assume a pattern can be duplicated for the long arm quilter I choose. Anyone with ideas? AKHippy

No ideas here, but that is a gorgeous quilt! Love the fabrics, colors and contrast you used.

Welcome to the board!

Wow, that border really showcases the French Braid.
Or the French Braid really sets off the border.

It's a fabulous combination.

And your LA quilter will have access to hundreds, if not thousands, of patterns. Depending on the equipment, he/she can custom design/free motion exactly what you're looking for. See what's available there first.

Please post another picture after it's been quilted. I would really like to see what was done.

We have several professional quilters right here on the board who could do any design you could want. They are talented enought to "draw" whatever with their machines. Use the search feature and you will see some wonderful quilts.
