Hello everyone.
I am so excited to be here. I am 41, married, mom, grandma and a new quilter.
I remember helping my great grandmother work on many quilts when I was a child. We always had the best time. :) The main one I remember working on with her was for my mother. It was a king sized cathedral window made from my baby clothes. We worked on it for more than a year; cutting and sewing and folding and sewing and more cutting... wow !!! I now have that quilt... :) It has SO many wonderful memories and every time I sit down to sew I think of my ma.
She is my inspiration. :)
Looking forward to making many new friends. :)
BTW anyone going to the Quilting Hop around the Shop in Sept ?

Howdy from another new quilter from Ft. Worth, TX. I have made some small items - but have just started cutting a full size quilt for my son. I am intimidated but know I can come here for help. Look forward to seeing pictures.
