A newbie to quilting, but now addicted
Hello from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. My two neighbors suggested I attend a meeting of their Quilt Guild last March 2012...I joined have made 3 quilts and have 20 more ideas for projects. Attended a 4 day quilt retreat and a 3 day quilt camp. Do you think I'm addicted? Turned one of my bedrooms into a sewing room, etc. etc. Does the excitement ever ware off? So far I'm learning and say "my quilts will never be in the Smithsonian, so how cares if the points don't match" haha. Any suggestions are welcomed. Glad I found this quilting board to hear what others have to say. Ciao for Now.

Welcome to the board ,yes it sounds as though you are now addicted, and no the thrill never wears off,
thats why it is so much fun.So happy your friend got you to go to her Quilt Guild, you will have to show us your quilts,
can't wait to see them!
