Brand new

And still waiting on my machine to arrive! When I say I'm new, I have less than an hour's worth of experience on any sewing machine.

So yeah I'm a little wet behind the ears.....*drips water*

welcome from Long Island NY. Where are you located? You could always quilt by hand when you're waiting for a machine to arrive. good luck and have fun!! We're a very supportive group here.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. You are starting on a great adventure and there are all kinds of tutorials on the net. Check out the tutorials done by Jenny Doan for the Missouri Star Quilt co. on YouTube.

Howdy from Texas! I just know you will enjoy this board as there are so many helpful quilters here. Just ask as many questions as you can think of & you will get answers. We are a friendly bunch & love new members. Are you anywhere near Danvers, MA? I support a charity group in Danvers by making medical face masks for kids in hospitals.

Welcome! Enjoy the adventure! I'd suggest you take a beginner's class either in person locally, or online from somewhere like Craftsy.com. You may want to take a beginner sewing machine class, just to get familiar with how a sewing machine works.

All that being said... I was self taught! If you want to learn, you will.
