I am a retired lady that has been quilting for the past 10 years, learning a lot more than I will ever be able to put into much use. When I started out I wanted to do it all.......LOL.....over the last couple of years I have settled into mostly piecing, paper piecing, and machine applique. The hand work does make my hands ache. However, I do enjoin embroider and am in the process now of doing some stuff for Christmas. I like to listen to audio books on my MP3 player and I do this while hand stitching. My DH is also retired and seems to like only TV so I spend most of my time at the machines. Thank God for my hobby.
I look forward to learning and just enjoying you folks here. I do belong to another quilting forum at another site and it has been great inspiration for me.

Which ones do you attend?

Every season I go to Auburn, Grass Valley, Yuba City, Sacramento, and I usually pick one or two different ones. The challenge for me is not to visit the vendors or not to buy the store - lol

Wendy,

It's Angela. We (Bob & I) bought your beautiful house in Pioneer. What a small world this is and with the internet it's made even smaller. When I saw your original post I took a chance that it was you, not like I didn't have a few hints.

Hope all is well with you & yours
