I have been working with quilt patches for about two years. I still won't call myself a quilter because I only make small projects like purses and wall hangings of simple patterns. What most of you do I call art quilts and I find them rather intimidating. I have started taking classes to learn more blocks and am excited about that. Most recently I made a "twister" bedspread of scrap materials. I know myself well enough to stick to smaller projects than this!
There is so much to learn here. Many thanks to all who participate. |
Hello, and welcome from the Garden State.
Don't under estimate your sewing ability. You did a beautiful job with your "Twister" bedspread. |

Hello from central Ohio and welcome to the QB. You will get so much helpful information on here, and if you have a question just ask. I've been quilting for nine years and it is very helpful to take some classes, as you will not only learn how to make a specific project, you will gather so many tips and information from the other quilters there.
I love your quilt, and make many of mine scrappy, too. |
