Hi from cold, snowy northern NY
Hi,
My name is Carol and I live in the Adirondacks in northern NY. I've been sewing for years. I mostly make potholders and neckties which I sell wholesale to shops around the country Once I get the ties or holders cut out, I find myself piecing the scraps together to make more potholders or mug mats or something so they don't go to waste:) I have also used the scraps to make several full size quilts. The quilts are nothing fancy - just small 4 inch squares but that makes for quite a variety of prints in a full size quilt. This forum looks so interesting and I know I can find some great ideas here, even on non quilting topics like what books people are reading. Nice to meet you all. Carol |

Oh so glad you found us! Welcome from North Carolina! A couple of times in my younger years I drove through your area (always took the scenic way)on my way to Canada and back. What beautiful beautiful country even if it is a bit cold.
