New from Sunny California!

Hello, my name is Annie and I am from Redding, California. The second sunniest city in the U.S. supposedly. I am a new quilter with just 6 quilt tops under my belt and only only quilted. I am self-taught up to this point and in the process of learning to free motion quilt. (Okay, I am actually in the process of learning patience. Free motion makes me want to throw my sewing machine out the window.)

It may be one the more difficult things I have tried.

I sew from a 5th wheel that I live in with my fiance, or on a picnic table, under a tree that sits quaintly in front of my home. I am in the process of learning how live.

I joined here because I have learned so much already, this site has become one of my many go-to resources. I hope to meet lots of people on here that can help me with my questions and perhaps one day I will be able to contribute to those who need it. Until then...

Hi Annie! Welcome to the quilting board. You certainly picked the right place. Sounds like you have the best place to sew. On a picnic table outside sounds heavenly! Please figure out how to post pictures (you can always ask). We would love to see your little treasures. Happy quilting from Spring, Tx.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. I am trying to increase my FMQ skills too. I like the watch www.leahday and her free motion quilting project for tips.

A warm welcome from North Central Washington! I like to take my machine with me when I go camping. I enjoy sitting outside on the picnic table and working on a quilt top.
