hopefully the link works, I have seen several directions but the one here on the message boards is a great tutorial. the strips are 2.5 inches and you need 40 of them. With borders it ends up being a little wider than a twin blanket. I used my scraps for the binding by cutting them into 6.5 inch strips and sewed them end to end until I had enough for the perimeter of the quilt. I thought this kept the randomness of the pattern. |
