Welcome from southeast Ohio. My sewing machine doesn't like me so my quilts are hand pieced and quilted. Let us know how you get along with your quilt!

Welcome from Southern California! Did your new machine come with lessons?

I have been sewing for 50+ years but when I got my new Janome I wanted help so that I would learn to do it right. A year later I bought a sewing/embroidery machine and took lessons for that too. It just made things easier for me and a lot less frustrating.

Welcome from OHIO! I think a rag quilt is a great place to start. Be sure to share a picture when you finish it.

Welcome from northwestern NY state. Enjoy your quilting. You will find lots of tips throughout the forum and don't hesitate to ask questions. Everyone here is so fantastic to answer them quickly. I have asked many questions myself on both quilting topics in the main section or other general questions in the chit-chat section.
