I need the patterns for blocks 1, 4 and 5. If you could even trace around each different sized piece for each pattern I can make template from the drawing. There were no extra pieces of fabric with my kits. I know sometimes I have found an extra piece of fabric in my kits, but I have not had any extra in the blocks that I have already put together. I am going to try to match the fabric as close as I can for the blocks I am missing. If I find really close match for the beige vines, I will sent you a piece. I did not have good luck trying to get the patterns from Joann. Please send the patterns to my mother, Mary Young, 3595 Church Rd., New Castle, PA 16101.

On Friday, my 90 year old mother found a manila envelope in her mailbox from someone in Illinois. She didn't have any friends or family in Illinois. Next, she looked at the return name, J. Johnson. She had no idea who J. Johnson was. Being the inquisitive person that she is, she quickly opened the envelope. Low and behold, there were the patterns & instructions for the 3 missing quilt blocks from the Pathway to the Stars! This being Mother's Day weekend, I drove from Lewistown to New Castle to visit her. When I arrived she almost knocked me down rushing to the door waving the 3 missing quilt block patterns in her hand! She said, "These came in the mail on Friday! I don't know how this lady knew I needed these three patterns, but here they are!" She was as happy as a kid in a candy store! I did not have a gift for her for Mother's Day and this was better than any gift I could buy! Thank you to all my new friends at the Quilting Board and especially to Janice for taking the time to find these patterns and sending them to my mother.

Now Mom has found some extra Quilt of the Month blocks that maybe someone else can use. Joann Fabric's - Holiday Tidings 2000 Quilt Blocks, Step #7, Step #8, and the finishing kit Step #12 that includes fabric for sashing and borders. The fabric is included in Step 7 and 8. Please call 717-242-3560 and leave a message if you are in need of any of these specific blocks/finishing kit.
