There's a great new site called SeamedUP.com. It has a place to create your own sewing room with your projects, patterns, fabric, etc. Has a searchable database so you can look for all kinds of quilting stuff. Thought you'd want to know!

I joined the other day. I forget to go though and the site is pretty slow for me. If anyone here is there maybe we can share usernames so we can add each other to friend lists or whatever they have there.

How do we find them?

hhmm - I suppose the best way would be to post a question in Chat it UP!

Finally - we have a way to find your friends - add them as a friend - AND see what they are UP to on the site!

Use the main search box (in the blue bar on top of each page) and search by username (note: We are currently adding functionality to make this easier).

Find your friend.

To the right of their avatar you will find an icon that looks like a person with a plus sign on it.
Click that.
Say hello!
Click Send.

An email will be send to them saying that you would like to add them to your friends on SeamedUP.

THEN in your sewing room, under 'my thread' you will be able to post your status, and see what your friends are doing as well!

In your Sewing Room, under 'friends' you can access your current list of friends, friends that you have sent a friend request to, and requests that you have received!

Hello again! Wow - it's been a while since I have checked in here!

SeamedUP has moved to a new server and we are now super fast! If you tried us before and got bored waiting for the page to load (I totally understand!) then I hope you will come by and give us another chance.
