Those are going to look great! And I love black and white with red, so that will be wonderful for you son-in-law.

I was also surprised how fast the half square triangles went!

Since all I have cut are the strips for the HST (the red strips, not the neutrals) I am hoping that y'all are right about how fast they go <g>!
Miss Sue! One of my friends gave me a tip for when I went on shop hops - - that was when she picked up the neutrals.
Isn't it interesting how differently the different shop owners treat and supply neutrals?
Of course, as one of my good friends reminded me - - in SOME parts of the world, red is considered a neutral. LOL <wave>

I was playing with the Easy Angle ruler and I am just wondering... Why is it that they only give the directions for using the corner with the black triangle when you can use the other corner and get the exact same size triangle? Just curious...

Does anyone know if there is a different ruler that does quarter square triangles like the companion angle ruler? I don't really want to cut 86 3 1/4" squares twice on the diagonal, but I can if I have to.

Well, it IS a start on putting it all together. What a great mystery. And this is fairly easy, thankfully, as I still have 200 HSTs and 20 string blocks to catch up on. Should be able to get it all done on Monday and Tuesday before my son and his wife come to town on Wedneday! I hope so anyway. May even get a start on it today if I get all the baking done. Got to get off the computer ............

I'm waiting for my CD to get here that will allow me to make my perfect HST and QST. So, I may be last across the finish line.

    URGENT! ERROR in PART 6!

In saying we will sew brown triangles to both ends of the PGP three set, she says we are sewing a TRAPEZOID.
Her picture of the pieces at the very end, shows a PARALLELOGRAM. There is not a distinct picture / directions at the point of sewing the second brown triangle, and this is very likely to mislead others who know what a trapezoid is and do not look closely at the last picture! :-(
