Don't worry, I'm only half-way through my string blocks and still have to do 4, 5 & 6! I also didn't finish last year's mystery. lol. 8-)

Thank you for the heads up! <wave>

Well, I finished my string blocks last night (finally). I have only 200 of Part 5 half square triangles done out of the 600. So I am behind too. Next week should be a much easier week. I think I can get all caught up by next Friday! Merry Christmas everyone!

Appaerently Bonnie has corrected the error on the blog directions to read Parallelogram, but the pdf file still says trapezoid, so please correct this if you are printing out directions.

So....what does everyone think of the blocks she's posted?? I got my CD and and finished all my 600HST, but now my machine needs to go in for service. So, I'm doubting I want to tackle the rest on my back-up.

Well bummer! If you aren't going to do the next parts right away, what are you going to be working on? (inquiring minds want to know <g> <wave>

I wasn't sure, but when I saw some of them on the yahoo group there are some gorgeous ones. One lady used purples to make her string blocks and I really liked them, along with some that used really bright colors. I would never have thought of using orange for those hst, but those were also pretty.

I was able to get a few blocks done. It's a bit more vibrant than I expected, but I like it. It's all going slowly though. I tried to sew a little on New Year's Eve but kept sewing the HST's on upside down. So I gave it up for 2010. 2011 has been better to me so far, not a single mistake yet!!
