Buyer beware
Wow! As I was reading QB this morning, I saw an ad at bottom from amazon prime for " that purple thang", a gizmo I just love, anyway, price was $6.+, I thought! wow! price had really gone up. So I started cruising...Nancy's notions, MSQC, Walmart.....even Office Depot, price is $3.+, so beware. I always thought amazon was the best but now I wonder. Btw, I have several of those purple things...my go to gizmo!

Sometimes they are cheaper other times not, just like any other retailer. I try to always compare prices before buying but if it's close then I usually choose Amazon because I have a prime membership so I don't have to pull out my credit card...

It's always good to do comparison pricing. A lot of people I know swear by Costco, but their prices are not always the lowest either. it all depends on the deal they get from the mfg. If you look you can see that there can be several sellers of the same product on Amazon, so prices can be different there too. Amazon Prime is not always the lowest price.

This is very true; many times the items on Amazon are being sold by affiliate companies, not Amazon itself. Always search around for the best price.

I'm on my second "Purple Thing"...the 1st one must have ran away from home as I couldn't find it again. I love these for helping to lay my seams down as I piece. Maybe I need a 3rd and 4th, before #2 runs away also!!
