Default Coupons!! Jo-Ann's or anyones

When you have a coupon that you think is good and you get resistance (or lip), ask to have the coupon scanned anyway. I was told the Jo-Ann 25% off total coupon could not be used with a Jo-ann 40% off one item coupon and I needed to choose which one I wanted to use. I asked her to scan both, both were accepted by their computer. I was able to save a total of $60 on one trip! ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE, kinda.

Good job on the savings.

I never have any problem with the cashiers scanning everything on my JoAnns flyer for me. They are usually more aware of what coupons will work than I am.

When Jo-Ann's reopened in our little town- I got gruff/lipservice from the manager about using so many coupons. He finally rang up what was on sales and what I could get for 50% and a coupon from the internet that gave me a 25 % off the total sale. Questioned how I got that internet coupon as he had NEVER seen it before... SO now I bring in the whole page I printed it off on and then I show it to them. When I go shopping in Utah (with the daughter and grands) and present my coupons I never get any gruff/lipservice and they even have more coupons to add to my pile at the checkout.
Then they make sure I have coupons for the next visit .. Talk about better service in another state ..

I used both. The 40% was used on two yards of fabric that wasn't on sale. The 25% was used on all the other items that were on sale.

I was told that if the number on the coupon that is by the barcode is not the same, multiple coupons can be used if they meet the other criteria (sale, non-sale, store, online, etc.). This was by a Joann's cashier, within hearing of the manager, who did not disagree.

I don't often get good service at Joann's stores ... but they will always scan whatever coupons I have, and the register will either take it or it won't. The % off full purchase only works on items that weren't discounted by another coupon.

As long as your coupons have different scanning codes on them and are not limited to store only, they should work unless out of date or wrong product. The new register computers figure it out for both customer and employee. So please insist that they scan them- I know as former employee and now loyal shopper and bargin hunter.

That must be one of the only ones that does that. I shop at Joann's in Coon Rapids and in Elk River and both of them accept both coupons as well as competitors coupons. I would really question them or find another Joann's!
