A really neat idea! My 12 year old great niece was looking for a project she could sew for her girlfriends for Christmas (yes, she thinks ahead!) and really liked this one.

I did one like YouTube video.....too shallow, so I revamped a bit...cut 1 1/2" off the two sides and made a deeper envelope. Here's pic- I hope![ATTACH=CONFIG]548281[/ATTACH]

I've made button holes with out using a buttonholer. Just mark where you want the hole, sew down one side go across, up the other and again. Then cut down the center. You could also just attach a loop to the top point.

I made one like her pattern-made button hole with ziz zaz stitch and it turned out great. The weight of the keys pushes the bag closer to the door.
