I ordered a jar of this. So far, nothing, and I mean nothing has helped.

The website is very simplistic and the only way I could find the ingredients in the creams and lotions was to enlarge an image. One of the ingredients is urea. (The definition follows.) Perhaps this is standard in creams and lotions, but it sounds odd. Glad it works for you.

    urea (ūrē´ə),

n a water-soluble compound that is the primary constituent of urine.

Urea is used in many creams and lotions. Eucerin Dry Skin Intensive lotion has 5% urea in it. Udder Balm or Udderly Smooth has 10% urea. I get both of these at Wal-Mart. Urea is in almost everything including cosmetics. Other more pleasant sounding names for products containing urea in lotions is Decubal, carol, ceramic and a whole bunch of other names. Basically it's in just about everything we slather on our bodies.

Try melting vaseline and (after washing dishes or taking a bath before bed) rub into hands and fingertips then wear old cotton gloves or a pair of old socks. (Really does help.) I usually wake up during the night and take the old socks off.

I feel terribly strange appearing on here like this but I had to do some sleuthing and try to find out why we had 287 visits from one site! Thank you so much for the referrals Jarenie, I don't make it but I do feel downright privileged to sell it. I'm glad to hear it has helped you. I love finding it referenced here, and for those reasons too - we sell it because my mom is a quilter who found it on a road trip to Detroit, it helped her cracked fingers but when she got home she couldn't find it for sale anywhere...14ish years later here we are.

Maybe you spotted this page on our site but in case you didn't: her Quilts... I inherited Turkeybird and feel compelled to say it's the most beautiful quilt ever made. No favoritism at all.

    Wishing you all the best,
    Chrissie Fink

Hi institches33, it is a simple site isn't it? ...it's about my limit, probably not going to get any more detailed I'm afraid! It is way better than it was 5 months ago though . You can find ingredients on the individual cream pages linked on the top bar, the only one without Urea is the Day Cream, the other two have it. I get contacted a couple times a year from chemo patients though, looking specifically for that urea, they're told to find it. I'm glad it helps them, but I do understand people that are leery of it!
    best wishes,
    Chrissie

I ordered the sampler pack. My Dr. prescribed a cream but it's smelly.
