Have a basket of ties left, might have to try it , I did dress shirts with ties attached

It is very nice I must say, can you say how many ties are needed for this quilt. I may be way off but just the top maybe 214 then the trim . I counted 36 times and 6 ties in each. That would take a lot of ties. You could collect ties or ask for help collecting them it would be a great way to get enough. I enjoyed just looking and thinking how great it would be but my quilting is not that great, wish it were. Thanks!
