Wow! I have been sitting with a quilt layered and no idea how to quilt it. After watching this video, I feel my creative juices flowing. She had some wonderful tips for both longarm and shortarm quilters. Thank you for sharing.

Awesome link. very informative. she is funny and honest. I learned alot. Now I don't feel badly about asking my LAQ for pantos. I actually love pantos on alot of quilts. I am going to start FMQ my own quilts soon (my last learning hurdle) and this video was great. thanks for posting.

So this was worth watching more than once -- and since it looks so easy to make feathers on a erase board, that's even pointed away from you, it means we can all learn and practice this technique. Since erase boards and pens are alot to buy/store, my local toy store (ok, Kmart) had etch-a-sketch....or something resembling that. Works great. Now the next step will be seeing in Glad Press and Seal sticks to that! You find you tools where someone directs you. Thanks so much for posting this link.

Great refresher for some things I had forgotten, and learned some newthings in the process. Will certainly be helpful in planning my next quilt.
