    Opps, it looks like I have a date with my thread snips. As I was pressing my block I noticed something didn't look right.

    I learned from Anita Grossman Solomon's class to use a strip of lightweight fusible interfacing in a X shape before cutting the HST. This works best for me. I buy the interfacing by the roll of 1 1/2" wide strips. With this block I iron most of the seams open too.

    Check out potholders made from this pattern. Love the potholders pictured in the show and tell on Missouri quilt forum. Believe she started with 9 inch and finished at 10 inches .
