I can't find the pdf file written instructions for the DPHG pattern. Does anyone have them who could share? Thanks!

It's a cute block, one I plan to put on my "want to do" list.

Here's block 2, as you can see I am digging through my old scrap pile for 10 inch squares. I think this dark blue with little roses is from the 1980's?

Tartan, thank you for all your work and reporting your tips for assembling this block. Just a question? Maybe beginning with 11" squares would give the extra wiggle room to have a 12-1/2 unfinished block? If I give it a try I will report in

The tricky part is the final cut for the equal 9 patch assembly. The 12 and 3/4 hourglass block divides evenly into 9-4 1/4 squares to reassemble. I would try a sample of 10 1/2 to 11 to see what works for division. Please post if you work it out for those who want a 12 and 1/2 inch block.

As Jenny mentioned in the video, you also could get a cute block if you don't rotate the center 4patch. I thought I would show that before I rotate it so it goes with my 2 other blocks.
