    Default Bella Online links

I've heard of this site before but never saw it till today when I was looking for a Dresden Heart pattern (which I STILL can't find! Grrrrrrr!). They have quite a few links.

Is it my computer or are most/all of the links here broken? I've tried clicking on 9 or 10 and they all show "Oops" or "error" or something letting me know that the site is no longer available. Have some of you had the same problem?

Oooh! A challenge! If you can't find the pattern, we'll just have to make a new one! C'mon! We can do this!

I went through my collection, and have the pdf for this. I am positive I did not pay anything for it, but there seems to be enough info to find it. That's assuming this is what you are looking for, I realize it may not be.

RugosaB, you had the same idea I had. I got it for free, also from her site, but I saw recently that she's charging for these patterns.

Would it help, to have a drawing of one (or two)? The original Dresden Heart seems to have 20 sections, each at 18 degrees. I plotted the angles, traced a heart in the center, then used 1-1/2" circle template, for the curved sections. Came up with "DHeart20." Then I decided to try making it a bit more defined, so shared a piece for the bottom of the heart, and divided the top into two pieces; this resulted in an odd number of sections, so had to increase the angles to 19 degrees, except for the bottom (which is slightly less than 19 degrees).

Maybe you can use one of these, for a guide . . . or tweak it a bit. Print out and add seam allowances. If it doesn't work, maybe it'll at least give you a starting point.

Now to see if I can post the pictures, without reducing the size too, too much!
