I'm so sorry to hear this. I have learned so much from Nancy in her quiet way. I read her book "Seams Unlikely" and her travel through life has had some challenges, but, she bravely has tackled them and I am hoping this is just another one of those challenges. She has a journey ahead of her, but, like everyone else, I am wishing her well and hope to see her back on the air as soon as she is ready.

I had not heard this sad news. I too have been inspired by Nancy. My thoughts and prayers are with her and wish her a speedy and complete recovery.

Nancy is the reason I quilt and sew. I started watching her shows as a young housewife and we grew up together. She is still an inspiration, I will keep her in my prayers

this is so sad but so inspirational to see her spirits haven't went down. I love all of her stuff, sewing, emb, serging quilting, you name it. I hated it when she went off the area in our area and I can only watch old you tubes on her. I was so happy this week to see Libby Lehman on Quilting Arts, I went to one of her thread arts classes, shes so good at watch she does and was on the verge of dying last year. I pray the same is true for Nancy. May they both be around for years to come to share their knowlege with us.

I consider her a role model in more than just her sewing abilities. I wish her a full recovery , and hope the pain portion of her bone cancer is now in the past. I wish her a wealth of happiness in her future.
