I have often wondered about this but never investigated it. She is a beautiful and brave woman, full of talent, and that is what matters. Three cheers for Nancy!!

I think it's great that she could take over her life and get her own business and do so much good. Her sewing is beautiful and she has a lot of good ideas. She's a beautiful very talented woman and I'm glad to see that she doesn't let her problem stop her from all she teaches and all she helps people. Good for her. Sue

I love watching her show , she has such great topics ! I always hoped I would see her at one of the big shows to tell her in person how much I appreciate the decades of shows she has produced.

She said she had/acquired it when she was around one year old - and then the treatment was "wait and see . . . maybe it willl go away by iitself"

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I'm a real Nancy Zieman fan! I did see the program where she talked about it; but had always suspected it was Bell's Palsy. Decades ago, as a beginning seamstress, I learned so much from her programs. I really admire her.

So brave. Her disability didn't define her, she defined it.

On one of her segments she talked about her Bells Palsy when they were discussing charity quilts. I think she is a very courageous women. Love her shows.

I think it's called Hall's Palsy...My cousin suffered from it as well.

If you want to meet her, she co-sponsers Wisconsin Quilt Expo every year in Madison, WI, usually the second week or so in September. She spends time on the floor in her (huge) Nancy's Notions booth and is always surrounded by groupies! She also teaches a session or two.
