My friend just sent me a tool "kwik klip" tool that you use to close and open the safety pins whle you are basting your quilt?

Yes I have it and I use it with the curved pins. I don't use the little plastic doohickey that comes with it, tho. It really works great I think.

But with this handy little tool, it is super simple, and I actually think it goes a little bit faster. One of my better investments, to be sure. |

My quilty friend uses it with and without the plastic do-hicky things on the pins..she loves it.
me on the other hand, have not taken the time to learn to use it properly and stick with it..! |
I have one and use it every time I pin my quilts. I love it.

I use it all the time and it sure saves my fingers. I like the curved pins, but not the little plastic thingy.
