This will work for Half Square Triangles, Quarter Square Triangles, Corner Triangles & Flying Geese!

I probably would "wiggle" and sew the cardboard! Or it would slip and mess up.....drawing lines with pencil is easier for me....

I use the angler sometimes, works for me. I also have a permanent line drawn on my sewing machine straight down from the needle center position.

Use a strip cut from sandpaper and it will grip your fabric - no slipping.

This is what I would use. Of course I just finished a bizillion HST's ( well a lot) LOL.

I've used this trick but I cut my strip out of emery cloth and also out of small grit sandpaper! neat trick!

I use a piece of painter tape and just follow.
